What’s on Runner Mobile?
You will be able to complete functionalities such as ‘Title Search’, ‘Share Assets’, view ‘Asset Details’, ‘Preview Assets’, ‘Filter Results’, and ‘Sort Results’ on mobile just as you already do.
Why not an app?
We want to accommodate Runner to be accessible for our users from their mobile devices quickly, which is less feasible with an app. Therefore, this is our team’s first step towards making Runner more mobile friendly.
The ‘Forgot Password’ link is located below the password field on the Login screen. Clicking that link will redirect you to enter an email address which will then contain a link to guide you to reset your password.
Step 1: Select the ‘Forgot password?’ link below the password field.
Step 2: The ‘Reset Password’ page will direct you to enter the email associated with your Runner account. An email containing a link to reset your password will be sent to your email address shortly.
Step 3: The email will include a link that will redirect you to another page where you can reset your password by entering a new password that meets the Password Policy.
Password Must:
-Be at least 12 characters long
-Have at least 1 uppercase character
-Have at least 1 lowercase letter
-Have at least 1 number
-Have at least 1 special character: ~ ! A # $ }{ % ^ _ + – = ][ \ : ; ? , . &
Password Cannot:
-Substitute only one character in a previously used password
-Be a previous password, backwards
-Include your first and/or last name
-Include your email address
-Include any words on the restricted words list
Step 4: Select the ‘Reset’ button once the new and confirmed passwords verify and pass through the Password Policy validation.
Step 5: The password should now be reset and you will be redirected back to your homepage.
Runner determines whether you can share either single or multiple assets based on your user permissions. Begin by navigating to the Asset Detail page and selecting the icon.
The Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) includes an added layer of security that requires not only a username and password, but a 6-digit physical token as well (in this case, your phone).
The Activity Page displays your asset’s upload status, share history, and file request history. The upload status page displays the status of your in-progress, completed, and failed uploads.
As a Runner Administrator, you have the ability to grand and remove access to any folder that is under your administrative control. To access the Admin portal, click the gear icon in the top right of the Runner bar to select ‘Admin.’
Aspera Connect is a file transfer acceleration tool and is required to upload and download files in Runner. Please go to the Aspera Connect website to download the plug-in: https://downloads.asperasoft.com/connect2/.

If you do not have Aspera Connect installed or if Aspera fails to launch, a dialog box will appear at the top of your browser prompting for installing the browser extension and then downloading the app.
Aspera Transfers Window
Once uploads or downloads are initiated, the Aspera file upload window will pop up to show the progress of your uploads or downloads.
Adjusting Transfer Speed: For each file uploading or downloading, you can click to open up the Transfer Monitor window. You can drag the arrow pointer on the left side up or down to adjust the download speed (given that you have the available bandwidth to take advantage of).
Delegated Admins can only enable a Runner account for an SPE employee. Begin by navigating to the list of users by clicking on ‘Users’ in the Runner Admin and select ‘Create User’ to start.
General Preferences determines whether you can manage your view, share, cart, upload, and metadata preferences. These settings are tied to your Runner account and will be loaded whenever you log into Runner, even across different machines and browsers.
